CHICAGO
Matthew Leone (bass): Nathan and I lived in Chicago, it's there that our family and friends live. Dan grew up in Philadelphia and Mateo in Columbia: they are "reported pieces", they're with us since 6 years now. We were very rarely in Chicago the last 2 years. When we come back, we realize that our personal life became a real disaster (laughs), there happen so many things in our absence., it's like everything changed and in the same time nothing really moved. It's difficult for us to come back home. We become almost foreign to this place, I don't know how long we're going to stay there but Chicago represent our origins, our roots. Moreover, we have an awesome fan-base there.

NEW COMPOSITIONS
M.L.: It's great, we are really excited and enthusiastic because we have just written new songs, we have the bases for approximately 8 songs. They take a direction which seems to us very interesting, a net change which regard to our first album. We'll take every second to make the best record possible, it's my main objective.

Do you write more at home or when you're on Tour?
M.L.: It's change since our beginning. For our first album in Chicago, as the most of us worked all the day, we met ourselves at 11pm in a dark room to compose, there were a lot of strange paints on the walls. It was an awesome room which was of use to us as inspiration. We composed until 4 or 5 am. It is like that that were born songs from "From Themm, Through Us, To You". Now, it's different. We are all the time on road, we have a studio behind our bus during the last Tour, we took advantage of it to record. During the Christmas holiday, we had 2 weeks of leaves, Mateo mailed his ideas from Columbia, his mother had made settle a studio at his house. In April, as we're going to have a lot of free time, we're going to gather our ideas before going on studio, I hope that our new album will be release in the beginning of 2009.

PUBLIC
M.L.: We don't consider the people who comes to our shows as fans but rather as friends with whom we are very connected. Everything we do is fot them, we don't call them "fans" because they aren't different from us but form with us a unity. During the first concerts, nobody care about us. Now, we are very close to the public and it gives something very exciting and beneficial for us.

TELEPHONE
M.L.: Who I call up the most? My girlfriend Autumn. Otherwise, we aren't really hook by the phone, I think it's an obstacle at my liberty, that cuts, that isolates from what can happens all around. And then, the phone isn't the best way maintain a relation. Everyone from us have one, we love that it doesn't work when we are in Europe. It's still one of the things which makes us feel closer to the European culture that the American, that frightens.

HATRED
M.L.: "Hate Is A Strong Word, But I really really don't like you!" (laughs) (these lyrics come from a Plain White T's song). Do you know that the Plain White T's also come from Chicago? We met them at a party not a long time ago, they're really nice guys. But come back to the hatred! The hatred is a motivation, it's something that you can transcend, make something positiv, a source of inspiration that motives you instead of preventing you which prevents you being free and doesn't advance you.

CALIFORNIA
M.L.: California is a strange place. From a geographical point, what I like there, it's the ocean, the beach and the beautiful mountains. The landscape is magnificent and the climate is perfect. Next to it, it's a superficial place, a region based on ideas such as over there you take yourself for somebody else, we can't say there is a culture. There are maybe meaning and interestings people but, in terms of connection, it's not a place in grip with the reality. (Nathan and Mateo join us and seem interested by the game).

Mateo Camargo (guitar): I broke mine, so I tell you what I have on my computer. I just download Young Bro, "My girls' got a girlfriend, man I can do it then ..." there is also Nine Inch Nails that I have since always, "Year Zero", and the new Madina Lake!

2008
M.C.: I don't believe in resolutions of new year. I plan to make the same thing as usual, try to entertain my friends and make them laugh, smoke some more cigarettes, have fun, find the happiness, and why not a girlfriend.

USA
Nathan Leone (vocals): f**k Yeah! It's very interesting that Mateo answer that! M.C.: I'm not american. The United States, you can go to realize your dreams but you can also lose you there. Not to enter the political domain, I would say that it's there where we met us, we form a beautiful melting pot!

WORD
(Describe every member in one word) M.L.: Mateo is the chemist, Nathan is the creator, Dan the philosopher and I'm the ghost!

MARK TROMBINO
M.C.: He's awesome, a discreet guy, very introvert, a genius, a engineer, a surprising producer. He worked on some of our favourites albumslike "Clarity" and "Bleed American" from Jimmy Eat World and "What It Is To Burn" from Finch. It's great to work with him. I learnt a lot with him, I stole him a lot of ideas. And, if you manage to make him smile, you won the part. N.L.: Yes, it's like pass your exam. M.C.: There is also a dwarf actor in States whose his name is Mark Trombino (laughs)!

STRANGE FANS
M.L.: Millions, strange friends, as I said, he created a unique link with them, a friendship. We give them everything we can, but what became strange, is when these people want always more, they consider that we never give enough at a point that they ask to pay their invoice of hospital, to talk to their separate parents to recover together, things like that. There's a line not to be crossed which is sometimes rather shady.

LOVE
M.C.: I'm the wrong person to ask that (laughs). I just go out of a 5 years relationship so I would say it's a myth. It's nothing other that chemie: a mixture of pheromones, times and solitude. In brief, the love is overestimated, it's a real lie.
